13 things I mailed to my son when he is overseas.
1. Goldfish crackers (his favorite)
2. Beef Jerky
3. Playing cards
4. sudoku game
5. Climbing magazines
6. pictures
7. brownies
8. movies
9. books
10. Fire ball jaw breakers
11. Lemon Head jaw breakers
12. taffy
13. Top Ramen noodles
These were not mailed all at one time. I mailed a package a week during his first tour in Iraq. Post office staff and I were on first name basis.

I had a co-worker who always mailed her hubby the candys that went on clearance. One customer just bought her son overseas about 4 dozen jar candles for some odd reason.

Great list! I bet he really appreciated the package every week. What a great mom!
My son joins the Air Force in October. Not sure if he'll be deployed or not, but I will try to do as well at keeping him stocked on love as you did your son.
